Young Puppies
Saturday 8/31 -
9:30-1:00
Geared towards puppies up
to 4-5 months. We will be working on age-appropriate exercises such as flatwork
and planks/cones. Dogs will not be doing
any agility equipment other than possible introductions.
Foundation for Backsides
Saturday 8/31 - 2pm-5:30pm
In this workshop, you
will learn how to teach a backside on one jump. Mary Ellen’s method focuses on teaching the dog how to find and execute
the correct side of the jump using a verbal cue and minimal handling. You will mainly be working on one jump, but
may progress to 2 or 3 for progression purposes. Suitable for any age/level of dog provided
the dog has a stay and understands jump commitment/offering.
Short Sequences/Young
Dogs
Sunday September 1 -
9:30-1pm
Sequences will be 4-11
obstacles in number and will consist of jumps and tunnels only. There may
be some technical elements, but sequences can be adjusted for the level of the
dog.
Extreme Challenges (Full - waitlist only)
Sunday September 1 -
2pm-5pm
This session is exactly
what the title says.... Skills to the Extreme!! During this session you will
work on short sequences designed with extreme skills built in. Learn how to
analyze these challenges to handle with success and learn how to develop the
skills needed to master the extreme skills presented!
