KineticDog is hosting our fourteenth annual Summer Camp!  Join OneMind Dogs coaches, Mary Ellen Barry and Jen Pinder for these camps.  These camps will be held at Orchard Hills Dog Training in Barto, PA.  The site is indoors, heated on Sprinturf.  We will be using both buildings in order to spread out and practice social distancing.

 

There are three camps offered as follows:

 

Short Sequences – July 10 & 11(limit 10 campers)

Sequencing – June 26 & 27 (limit 20 campers), July 10 & 11 (limit 10 campers)

Coursework – June 28 & 29 (limit 20 campers), July 12 & 13 (limit 20 campers)

 

Hours: 9am-5pm

 

Costs:

$425 working spot.  No auditing permitted due to limits on size of events (COVID-19)

 

All camps are no frills, bring your own lunch, snacks and beverages

 

You must register and pay for both days of camp.  There is no sharing of camp spots and no partial camp spots will be available unless spots are still available after June 20.

Short Sequences Camp

July 10 & 11 (limit 10 campers)

Sequences will consist of 4-8 obstacles. This is the perfect camp for young dogs learning to put it all together, or handlers that are quite rusty after the quarantine. Obstacles will consist of jumps & tunnels only (full height jumps not required). 

 

Participants should be familiar with OMD methodology.  

 

Participants will spend 1 day with Jen and 1 day with MEB.

Sequencing Camp (offered twice)

June 26 & 27

July 10 & 11

Handlers will learn how and where to apply the OMD techniques using shorter sequences. Contacts and weaves will not be included.  Dogs should have a solid start line and should be sequencing 8-12 obstacles consisting of jumps and tunnels (full height jumps not required).  Dogs and puppies 10 months and older are welcome.

 

Participants should be familiar with OMD methodology.  

 

Participants will spend 1 day with Jen and 1 day with MEB.

Coursework Camp: Offered twice

Handlers will be put to the test learning how to apply OneMind Dogs techniques and methodology to longer, technical courses.  Dogs should be 18 months or older, proficient on all obstacles, and should be able to complete USDAA Challenge, UKI Masters/Champ level courses.

 

Participants should be familiar with OMD methodology.  

Participants will spend 1 day with Jen and 1 day with MEB.
